VR Escape Room in Goldsboro, NC! Book Your Quest Today

Play Dates Academy just opened a new VR Escape Room in Goldsboro, combining the puzzle-solving thrill of a traditional escape room with the full immersion of virtual reality. Whether you're local to Goldsboro or coming in from Kinston, Selma, or Smithfield, it's quickly becoming one of the top things to do in Wayne County. Instead of searching a physical room for clues, you're inside a story that reacts to everything your team does.

Now Booking: Fridays & Saturdays, 5–8 PM, starting September 25th.

What Is a VR Escape Room?

A VR escape room drops you and your group into a story-driven quest. You'll work together to solve puzzles, uncover clues, and beat the clock, all while fully immersed in a virtual world through your headset.

What to Expect

Sessions run 60 minutes and are built for teamwork. Quests are tagged by intensity, from mild (great for first-timers and families) to intense (for groups who want a real challenge), so you know what you're walking into before you start. Every player gets their own headset, and our team is nearby the whole time in case you need help. Want to browse the full lineup before you book? Who Can Play?

Participants must be 10 years of age or older. Children under ten (10) years of age are NOT permitted inside the VR Arena at any time, including as spectators.

Groups of up to 6 fit in one arena. Bringing a bigger crew? Book both arenas and fit up to 12 players.
